Whether you’re completely new and never touched a camera before or you’re experienced and looking to get your hands on some of the best kit in the natural history world, Josh can tailor a one-on-one course to suit your needs.

Beginner - For those who are new to film or photography and would like to get to know their camera, be confident in the manual settings and be ready to go on to develop their skills in their own time.

Natural History experience - When you see behind the scenes of any natural history production, for any long lens sequence you’re likely to see the big Canon CN20 lens paired up with a RED V-Raptor camera and for macro you’ll often see the strange long probe lens that gives an incredible bug eyed view into another world. Josh has spent years building his kit and is always happy to share his real world experience to not only help get you comfortable with this kit but to give you the chance of capturing some of your own magical wildlife moments with the same gear you see on the big wildlife documentaries.

General information: We are based in South Devon, UK and can offer accommodation at an extra cost if needed. We will usually head out early morning or towards dusk to make the most of the best light but all courses will be tailored to your needs.
